Horribad
Want to read the worst article I have ever read on the internet? Here is the link. I don’t know how you can write something like that for the AP. I don’t know how you can make a living as a writer with this in your portfolio. The only way I can describe it is horribad! *Edit: I don’t think it’s bad just because I am Rangers fan, they could be talking about any team. Oh and trying to relate sports to 9/11? Really??
wewt!
Rangers won last night 2-1 against Toronto. Let’s see if the Yanks can stay alive another night!!!
weekend update
So another pretty exciting packed weekend. Friday night Sara & I went over to Tom and Sarah’s to watch the NY Rangers & Yankees games. The Rangers had a tough OT loss but their comeback to tie it was impressive. I thought they played really well depsite the OTL and I think it’s going to be a fun season. Unfortunately Drury rebroke his finger and Gaborik separated his shoulder so they will both miss a few weeks. I also learned that Prospal will miss even more games now that he is having knee surgery. The Yanks on Friday also had a great comeback and it was a fantastic game to watch.
Saturday my nephew Jacob had his “friends” birthday party so Sara and I went over to help. It was supposed to be at my sister’s house but on Thursday the water main feeding their house burst/crumbled and started flooding their basement. Since the plumber wouldn’t start until the gas line was marked and a permit was in hand, the first day he could come out was Saturday so the party was moved to my parent’s house. My sister had done a lot of work making it a carnival theme and really pulled it off. She had 10 or 12 little games set up the kids rotated around and really outdid herself. I think the kids had a blast which was the most important part.
Sunday was Melting Pot for Kimberly, Kevan, Sara, and I. Since it was Sara & my 7 year dating/5 year engagement anniversary we like to go out somewhere nice. This year we brought Kimberly & Kevan out to the melting pot with us and had a blast. The food was great as always and it was fun. Afterwards we went back to our houses and did a couple dungeons with our 5-man group which seemed really easy since 4.0.1.
Monday Morning Again?
Feels like it…
Patch 4.0.1 dropped today in WoW which is huge news. Pretty much all class mechanics have changed so I get to figure out how to play again. Gonna be like a whole new game…well almost. We have to wait until 12/7 for it to be a WHOLE new game.
Get to see tonight who the Yanks will play in the next round. I hope it’s Texas just because Tampa has been there/done that. Give Texas a shot, Yanks will likely crush them, but I’d give them a shot.
Still trying to implement RSS into my blog somehow but I’m gonna need a plugin. Not quite sure how to upload once since it is privately hosted, but sill working on it. I also am not sure if I want the RSS feed to auto-post or should I just make a new page to display the feed. I like the auto-post method a la WP-O-MATIC but it may just spam my blog.
Weekend Update
So the weekend was nice. Friday night Kimberly & Kevan wanted to run a couple FoF runs in WoW which we haven’t done in a long time which was fun. Saturday Sara & I played tennis in the morning, ran some errands, and then went over to Tom & Sarah’s to watch the Ranger’s game and dinner. It was a fun night and a great Ranger’s game. Sunday we went over to my Parent’s for Jacob’s birthday which was a lot of fun. Marc, Jessie, Ben, and Jessie and Ben’s new puppy Copper came too. It was nice to see them all and I think Jacob had a blast which is what counted. We got him Mario Kart for his DS which was a hit. This week, we are going over to Scott’s Thursday do record a couple lines for his latest parody. Since a major part of the pardody is about Portal, we thought it would be funny to parody ‘Still Alive’, the song during the credits. We found an instrumental version of the song and Sara & Scott have some great lyrics. We’ll have to see if there is time to finish it. Matt’s birthday is Tuesday so we are going to dinner and that should be fun. Our 7th year dating anniversary is Friday so we are going to Melting Pot on Sunday with Kimberly & Kevan (and maybe Tom & Sarah) for thsi big Oktoberfest menu they’re having – can’t wait! Saturday we are going to Jacob’s birthday carnival (his birthday party for his friends) which should be exciting. Ok, enough update!
Try again
So I’m going to try blogging again!
After a very long absence I am back and want to get this site up and running again. I have been using facebook for my updates but want to get back to the basics. I want to distance myself from relying on the crack that is facebook addiction. Look forward to fun and informative posts in the future and I promise nothing more political.
more bos!
Beware of Safety was awesome! Wow, what a great show. Sara said it was the best show she has ever seen/heard. So good, in fact, we are going out of our way this weekend to see them again in Providence, RI the day after the PJ show. Priceline.com helped us out with a $55 room at the Hilton. Can’t wait!! (Thanks for closing with The Laughter Died!!!)
In WoW, Headless Horseman continued to wipe the floor with us. We did get to 77 and trained cold weather flying to help us get to 80 faster! It’s nice, at this point, to actually start seeing your gear in Rawr! We also did Upper & Lower Blackrock Spire, got the Jenkins title, and zerged Orgrimar to get Ragefire Chasm completed. Also blew through Stocks with FoF but Kimberly & Kevan were sick so we called it a night. I hope they feel better soon! I’m sure we will have no problem with Blackrock Depths!
