WHY YOU NEVER QUESTION A DRUNK
A woman was shopping at her local supermarket where she selected:
A half-gallon of 2% milk,
A carton of eggs,
A quart of orange juice,
A head of romaine lettuce,
A 2 lb. can of coffee,
And a 1 lb. package of bacon.
As she was unloading her items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind her watched as she placed the items in front of the cashier.
While the cashier was ringing up her purchases, the drunk calmly stated, “You must be single.”
The woman was a bit startled by this proclamation, but she was intrigued by the derelict’s intuition, since she was indeed single. She looked at her six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about her selections that could have tipped off the drunk to her marital status.
Curiosity getting the better of her, she said “Well, you know what, you’re absolutely correct. But how on earth did you know that?”
The drunk replied, “Cause you’re ugly”

As I have started my workout routine with Sara, I am trying to run at least three times a week. Well, after running for 2.5 miles yesterday, I have developed some serious blisters on my feet from my old & worn out kicks. Now that I am in the market for a new pair, rather than going down to Footlocker and picking out whichever one I think looks best, I would like to purchase a pair of running shoes that are actually purposeful. I have always had good experiences from Nike, so I will probably pick another pair of them up unless someone here disagrees. Basically, I will be running about 10 miles a week, indoors for now and when it gets nicer, outdoors too. In the spring I would also like to get back into a little b-ball and maybe tennis/racquetball. I was thinking of either Nike Men’s Air Coos or Nike Men’s Air Max Assail III. Again, I have no real experience and just picked them out because they are Nike, I think they look good, the descriptions on Nike’s website sounds good, and they are right at the top of my price range ($50-75). Any advice or comments?

According to this article, apparently extremist Sunni Muslim’s bombed a major Shiite shrine. The obvious reaction was a mass march/demonstration. That’s all fine, well, and good. It’s actually par for the course and I condone it. Then, it goes on to say how Shiite’s went and retaliated against Sunni mosques. OK people, listen up! Extremists blew up your building, not your everyday Sunni! Don’t retaliate against people who didn’t do anything to you! And now for the kicker:
“About 3,000 people marched the Shiite city of Kut, chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans and burning U.S. and Israeli flags.â€
Um, yeah. So I just don’t get it. I don’t! Can someone explain this to me? Is it just me or do American/Israeli people get blamed for everything. Even so, you don’t see us going around and spraying our local mosques with automatic gunfire when we are blamed for something that offends us!

According to a post on AgentOrange and here, Firefox users need to upgrade to latest version due to a serious vulnerability issue. Kudos for Firefox for making a fix as soon as the glitch was noticed!

Be forewarned! Some of them can be rather scary!!

Another company, other than Sony, is now putting copy-protection software onto your computer which will slowly kill it. This time you are the target and those videos games you know and love are the bullets. Check out the story here and how to fix it and list of games that come with it here. You will be surprised at the list! This was brought to my attention by Simon, who posted at Literal Barrage.
